The midfield relies on a double pivot consisting of S.Zamora and Espinoza. These two players are tasked to shield the defense and win the second ball to keep the pressure on. Espinoza and S.Zamora must work to connect the defensive and attacking lines by receiving the ball from the defenders and playing short from the back before looking to spread wide. They need to press aggressively in a mid block to win the ball back high up the pitch and feed the front four.

The attack is the main focus for Macará, using four players across the front. Muñoz and Ávila act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to stretch the defense and provide maximum width. They look to get to the byline and deliver early crosses into the box. In the center, Macías and López operate as a strike partnership to pin the last defender. This combination of players is designed to create runs in behind and use link up play between the lines to split the defense with a through ball.

This formation offers clear tactical advantages, such as the ability to create wide overloads when the full backs overlap the winger. Macará can also use the high numbers to press in pairs, which helps to squeeze the space in the opponent's half. The presence of four attackers makes it easier to isolate wide players in one on one situations, especially during quick transitions.
