LEDESMA · BORDON · MARTINEZ · ORNETTI · BLANCO · FLEITAS · BALLEJOS · CABRAL · PAMPILLON · PAMPILLON · MORALES

Talleres intends to dominate through a relentless attacking intent, using a 2-4-4 formation to overwhelm the opposition. This lineup aims to win the ball high up the pitch and move the play forward with extreme speed. The plan is to pin the opponent in their own half by saturating the final third and forcing mistakes.

LEDESMA sits in goal to command the area. The defensive unit consists of a central pair, ORNETTI and MARTINEZ, who act as the last line before the keeper. With only two defenders in the back, ORNETTI and MARTINEZ must play a high line to squeeze the space and prevent long balls. They need to be ready to step up and intercept passes or clear the lines when the press is broken. They must cover large amounts of ground to handle runners coming from deep.

The midfield quartet provides the link between the back two and the heavy front four. FLEITAS and BALLEJOS act as the central engine, working to win the second ball and protect the two central defenders. FLEITAS and BALLEJOS must track back constantly to prevent counter attacks. On the flanks, BORDON and BLANCO occupy the wide areas. BORDON and BLANCO work to stretch the defence and support the attackers, often pushing high to join the attack or dropping deep to help the defense.

The attack is heavy with four players operating in the final third. CABRAL and PAMPILLON occupy the wide positions, looking to cut inside or deliver crosses into the box. In the center, MORALES works alongside PAMPILLON to create constant pressure on the opposition center backs. The presence of CABRAL, PAMPILLON, MORALES, and PAMPILLON makes it difficult for defenders to mark everyone. They look to play through the lines or use quick combinations to find gaps in the defensive block.

This formation provides massive numerical superiority in the attacking zones. By using four players up front, Talleres can create wide overloads and force the opposition to defend in a very narrow space. The ability to press in waves allows the team to win the ball back high up the pitch. This constant pressure can force a long ball, which ORNETTI and MARTINEZ can then intercept.

This 2-4-4 lineup is built for pure attacking dominance and high risk football. It is most effective when facing teams that lack the speed to exploit the space behind the high line.
