This lineup is built to play with heavy pressing and rapid transitions to catch opponents out of position. The team looks to control the central areas and use their numerical advantage to move the ball through the thirds quickly.

Nevistić operates between the posts to command his area. The defensive unit consists of a back three with Theophile acting as the central anchor. He provides height and strength to win the header in defensive situations. To his sides, Mmaee plays as a left centre back to cover the space behind the wingbacks, while Ristovski acts as a right centre back to step up and intercept passes. This defensive block works as a single unit to squeeze the space and deny the turn to oncoming attackers.

The midfield is a crowded engine room designed to win the second ball and control the tempo. Mišić sits in a deep position to shield the defence and recycle possession. Beside him, Sučić acts as a carrier to drive forward with the ball. Pierre-Gabriel and Hoxha operate as two tens in the half-spaces to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Baturina plays as an advanced attacking ten behind the strikers, using his passing range to split the defence with a through ball. This midfield grouping works to press in a mid-block and immediately win it back high up the pitch.

Up front, Dinamo uses two forwards in a partnership to stretch the opposition. Kulenović plays as the lone striker to pin the last defender and make runs in behind. Petković plays as a second striker in the hole to link up play between the lines and find the feet of the striker. They attack in combinations to create chaos in the box. When out of possession, the two forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

A major strength for Dinamo is the numerical superiority in midfield which allows them to compress the midfield and dominate possession.
