Frimpong uses his extreme pace to push high, while Grimaldo seeks to cross from the left side to support the forwards.

The attacking front line uses two forwards in a partnership with Wirtz and Hofmann acting as wide attackers. Boniface and Schick play as the two central strikers. Boniface acts as a physical presence to hold up the ball, while Schick looks to make runs in behind. Wirtz and Hofmann cut inside from the wings to create overloads in the center. This front four presses the opposition back line aggressively to prevent them from playing out from the back.
