Starting Lineup

Sp. Braga looks to control the pitch through a high press and verticality using a 3-4-3 formation. The midfield is built around a three-man engine room that connects the back line to the attack. Yuri sits in a single pivot role to shield the defence and recycle possession. V Carvalho and Zalazar operate in the half-spaces, with V Carvalho acting as a carrier to move the ball forward. Roger plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find pockets of space and arrive late into the box. This midfield group works to win the second ball and drive the team through the thirds.

The attacking unit utilizes three forwards to pin the opposition back. Amine leads the line as a central striker, looking to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. On the flanks, Gabri plays as a wide winger on the left, while RHorta operates as an inverted winger on the right. RHorta likes to cut inside to create shooting opportunities or slip passes through the lines. These attackers press from the front to force a long ball and create chances in transition.

Sp. Braga gains a significant advantage through the ability to press high in coordinated waves. The formation also allows for wide overloads when the midfielders and attackers combine to isolate wide players in one on one situations. This creates constant pressure on the opponent's defensive line.
