Milović and F. Tudor operate as the central defenders, where Milović provides coverage and F. Tudor uses his physical presence to win the header during defensive phases. The unit must hold the line carefully to avoid being caught by long balls behind them.

The midfield operates with a double pivot consisting of Radošević and F. Bradarić. These two players work to shield the defense and recycle possession to maintain control. Radošević helps to connect the defensive and attacking lines, while F. Bradarić works to win the second ball in the middle of the park. They must stay disciplined to cover the space left behind when the full backs push forward.

Hajduk utilizes four attackers to pin the opposition back. A. Erceg and Vukušić operate as two central forwards, working in combinations to trouble the center backs. Kouassi and Tomasov play as wide wingers who aim to cut inside or pull wide to create space for others.
