Using his dribbling, LEAO beats markers, while PULISIC works to find space between the lines. This midfield group works to compress the midfield and win the second ball.

MORATA leads the line as a lone striker. Acting as a pressing centre-forward, he triggers a press from the front. He holds up the ball to allow the attacking midfielders to arrive late into the box. LEAO and PULISIC often cut inside to act as secondary threats. Such movement creates space for THEO to overlap the winger and deliver crosses.
