Starting Lineup

White can push forward to provide width, while Saliba and Gabriel cover the spaces behind him to maintain a high line.

The midfield operates with a three man midfield with a carrier and two advanced players. Partey sits in a deeper role to shield the defence and recycle possession. Timber plays as a runner to connect the defensive and attacking lines, while Odegaard acts as the creative hub. Odegaard uses his exceptional passing range to break the line and find attackers. Trossard operates in the half spaces as an attacking ten to support the front three and press from the front.

In the attacking third, Arsenal uses three attackers across the front. Havertz acts as a pressing centre forward to pin the last defender and hold up the ball for others. Saka plays as an inverted winger on the right, often looking to cut inside and find space. Sterling provides width on the left and looks to get to the byline to deliver early crosses.
