Starting Lineup

Yashin · Zanetti · Rijkaard · Maldini · Di Stefano · Zico · Platini · Best · Cruyff · Eusebio · Puskas

Dinamo focuses on high intensity attacking and relentless pressure through a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to overwhelm opponents by creating constant threats in every zone of the final third. The team aims to win the ball back high up the pitch and strike with incredible speed.

Yashin sits between the posts to act as the final line of defense. The defensive unit uses a back three consisting of Maldini, Rijkaard, and Zanetti. Maldini operates as a left centre-back with his ability to intercept and read the game, while Rijkaard provides strength in the middle. Zanetti covers the right side and can step up to support the midfield. They defend zonally to maintain compactness and can easily shift to cover gaps when the wide players move forward.

The midfield functions as a four-man unit that connects the back line to the attack. Zico and Platini occupy the central spaces to control the tempo and play through the lines. Zico uses his legendary passing range to find teammates, while Platini can arrive late into the box to score. Best and Cruyff play as wide midfielders, providing width and tracking back to assist the defense. This midfield group works to squeeze the space and ensure the team can recycle possession quickly.

In the attacking third, Dinamo uses three forwards to pin the opposition back. Puskas acts as the central striker, looking to find space and finish chances. On the flanks, Eusebio and Di Stefano operate as wide forwards who cut inside to challenge the central defenders. Eusebio uses his powerful shooting to threaten from distance, while Di Stefano looks to create space for others. The front three press from the front to force a long ball and win the second ball in dangerous areas.

One major advantage for Dinamo is the ability to create wide overloads when Best and Cruyff push high. The team also benefits from numerical superiority in the midfield through the movement of Zico and Platini. This allows the players to dominate the ball and control the rhythm of the match. The speed of transition when winning the ball high up the pitch makes them lethal.

This 3-4-3 formation creates a heavy offensive presence that can break down even the most compact low block. Dinamo is best suited for matches against opponents that try to play a high line or leave space behind their midfield.
