US Biskra looks to play a direct and aggressive style of football through a 4-2-4 formation. This lineup focuses on overwhelming the opposition with numbers in the final third and using high intensity to win the ball back quickly. By pushing many players forward, US Biskra aims to force mistakes in the opponent half and exploit transitions through quick vertical movements.

Mellala stays between the posts to organize the defensive line. The back four operates as a flat defensive unit with Barkat and Benlaribi providing width from the full back positions. Taleh and Khoualed act as the central defenders, tasked with defending zonally and winning headers during set pieces. The defensive unit must remain compact to ensure they do not get caught out when the team pushes forward, with the full backs needing to track back quickly when possession is lost.

The midfield is composed of a double pivot consisting of Hamoudi and Benzid. These two players must work hard to shield the defence and provide a screen for the back four. Hamoudi and Benzid are responsible for recycling possession and connecting the defensive unit to the attacking line. They need to occupy the central spaces to prevent the opposition from playing through the middle, while also being ready to carry the ball forward to support the front four.

An intense attacking front line is used to stretch the defence. Mellal and Bouziane play as wide attackers, with Mellal staying on the left and Bouziane on the right to provide width. The central roles are filled by Hamidi and Baali, who act as two forwards in a partnership. This pairing is designed to pin the last defender and make runs in behind. The front four can press from the front to force a long ball, allowing the team to win the second ball and start attacks immediately.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its ability to create wide overloads and numerical superiority in the attacking third. By committing four players forward, US Biskra can isolate wide players in one on one situations. The presence of Hamidi and Baali together also creates constant pressure on the opposition centre backs, making it difficult for them to build play from the back.

The 4-2-4 lineup is built for high risk, high reward football that relies on heavy pressure. This formation is best suited for matches where the team needs to break down a deep block through sheer offensive volume.
