Eze · Vodera · Podkonický · Makky · Vadovič · Boledovič ("C") · Cserepkai · Kán · Charvát · Havlík · Šulák

Šamorín looks to control the game through heavy central numbers and high intensity, utilizing a 2-5-3 formation. This lineup is built to dominate the middle of the park and force the opposition into wide areas where they can be trapped. By packing the center, the team aims to win the second ball and quickly move the ball into the final third.

Eze acts as the last line of defense behind a very narrow defensive block. The back line consists of only two central defenders, Cserepkai and Vadovič, who must remain extremely disciplined. These two act as the primary covering defenders, often stepping up to intercept passes before they reach the attackers. Because there are no wide defenders, the defensive unit must shift rapidly as a whole to cover the flanks and protect the space behind them.

The midfield is the engine room for Šamorín, employing a five man unit to overwhelm the opposition. Boledovič and Havlík operate as a double pivot to shield the defense and recycle possession. In front of them, Makky, Podkonický, and Vodera occupy the half spaces and central zones to link the defense and attack. Podkonický and Vodera work to drive forward with the ball and connect the lines, while Makky helps to press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch. This dense midfield allows the team to squeeze the space and prevent the opponent from playing through the middle.

The attacking unit operates with three players across the front to stretch the defense. Kán and Charvát play as wide wingers who look to isolate defenders in one on one situations. Šulák leads the line as a lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and find the feet of the oncoming midfielders. The team builds the attack by moving the ball through the congested midfield before looking to hit in behind on the transition. Kán and Charvát often pull wide to create space for late runs into the box from the central midfielders.

One major advantage for Šamorín is the numerical superiority in midfield, which makes it very difficult for opponents to find passing lanes. The formation also allows the team to press high in coordinated waves, using the five midfielders to trigger a press as soon as possession is lost. This ability to compress the midfield and force long balls makes them very difficult to play through.

This formation relies on a massive midfield presence to dominate territory and control the tempo. It is best suited for matches against teams that try to play through the center, as it allows Šamorín to trap them in a dense central block.
