BARRIENTOS acts as a carrier to drive the ball forward, while OJEDA works to shield the defence and win the second ball. BERNARDINI and LEITES occupy the wide roles to provide width. The left winger, BERNARDINI, looks to press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch, while LEITES helps to recycle possession and switch play. This group works to connect the defensive line with the attackers by playing through the lines.

Lincoln uses two forwards in a partnership to lead the attack. ESPINDOLA plays as a pressing centre-forward to force the opposition into long balls, while PANIAGUA works as a second striker in the hole to find space. The wingers, BERNARDINI and LEITES, pull wide to spread the defence and create space for others. This movement allows for runs in behind or cutbacks from the byline. The forwards aim to combine in tight spaces or exploit the transition to catch the opposition out of position.
