Wernersson and Ohlsson push high to provide width and create overloads on the wings. Carneil looks to play through the lines to find the strikers in behind the defense. The team aims to create chances through quick combinations and look to isolate defenders in one on one situations.

The formation offers significant advantages through numerical superiority in the midfield. By having Kåhed, Kruse, and Carneil close to the center, they can crowd out the opposition playmakers. Another strength is the ability to create wide overloads when Wernersson and Ohlsson move forward to support the attack. This forces the opponent to defend large areas of the pitch.
