Starting Lineup

PSG plays with an aggressive and vertical intent using a 4-2-4 formation. This lineup aims to overload the final third and win the ball back quickly. DDaDac plays at right back to guard the flank, while AI takes the left back position. The remaining AI players occupy the two central defender spots. These central defenders must be able to hold the line and cover the space if the team gets caught on the break. They work together to defend zonally and stop runners from finding space between the lines.

A double pivot occupies the center of the pitch with Roberto and JANGGO0110. These two players are responsible for shielding the defence and providing a link between the back four and the attack. Roberto and JANGGO0110 must work to win the second ball and recycle possession to keep the pressure on. They act as the engine of the team, looking to pass through the lines to reach the forwards. If the opposition pushes up, they must drop into a mid-block to secure the center.

The front line is composed of four players to stretch the defence. ehddk6 operates on the left wing, while KARA plays on the right side to provide width. In the center, Autonomoust and wpdl3042 act as a strike partnership. These two forwards work to pin the last defender and make runs in behind to exploit space. The wingers, ehddk6 and KARA, can cut inside or stay wide to cross the ball. This formation forces the opposition to defend a huge amount of space.

One major advantage is the ability to press high in coordinated waves. With Autonomoust, wpdl3042, ehddk6, and KARA all moving forward, PSG can win the ball high up the pitch. Another strength is the numerical superiority in the attacking zone, which allows for quick combinations in tight spaces. The wide players can also isolate defenders in one on one situations when they receive the ball in space.
