Musiala plays as the attacking ten behind the striker, using his dribbling style to operate in tight spaces and create chances.

The front line utilizes three attackers to pin the last defender and create constant pressure. Kane operates as a lone striker and target man, often dropping deep to link up play between the lines. On the flanks, Sane and Olise act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to spread the defense. Sane looks to cut inside to threaten the goal, while Olise works to get to the byline and deliver early crosses. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.
