Hapoel Haifa prioritizes a high press and quick transitions through a 4-3-3. This formation aims to squeeze the space in the opposition half and win the ball high up the pitch to catch opponents out of position. The lineup is built to move the ball quickly from the defensive third into the attacking third, using verticality to bypass the middle of the park.

יואב plays between the posts to organize the defensive line. The back four functions as a flat line where נועם acts as a right back to provide width and אורן operates as a left back to overlap the winger. In the center, פרננד and ג׳ורג׳ form the central defensive pairing, tasked with defending zonally and winning the second ball. These two must stay compact to prevent runners from breaking the line, while the full backs push up to support the attack.

The midfield operates with a single pivot and two advanced midfielders. רוי acts as the holding player to shield the defence and sit in front of the central defenders. Beside him, נאור and לירן occupy the central spaces to connect the defensive and attacking lines. נאור and לירן are expected to carry the ball forward and press aggressively to win the ball back in a mid-block. This trio helps Hapoel Haifa recycle possession and move the ball through the thirds.

The attacking unit uses three attackers to stretch the defence. גיא acts as a lone striker to hold up the ball and pin the last defender, while דור and בר operate as wide wingers. דור and בר prefer to cut inside to create overloads in the central areas, leaving space for the full backs to overlap. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball, and they look to combine in tight spaces to create chances.

Hapoel Haifa gains tactical advantages through wide overloads and the ability to press in coordinated waves. By using the full backs to support the wingers, the team can create numerical superiority in the wide areas. The midfield trio also allows the side to maintain compactness when defending, making it difficult for opponents to play through the lines.

This 4-3-3 formation relies on intense pressing and rapid movement to disrupt the opposition. It is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
