Starting Lineup

PSG plays a highly vertical game built on rapid transitions and attacking dominance using a 4-2-4. The goal is to overwhelm the opponent with numbers in the final third and look to strike quickly once the ball is won. This lineup aims to pin the opposition back through sheer offensive volume and constant pressure.

AI guards the goal for PSG. The back four consists of KARA at right back and HanWooRA at left back, who both must track back quickly when possession is lost. DDaDac and AI operate as the central defenders, tasked with holding the line and winning the second ball in the air. The defensive unit must stay compact to prevent being bypassed in the middle while the full backs manage the wide areas and cover the space behind the midfielders.

The midfield functions as a double pivot consisting of panch25 and JANGGO0110. These two players must cover a lot of ground to shield the defence and connect the back line to the heavy attack. panch25 and JANGGO0110 are responsible for recycling possession and playing through the lines to keep the play moving. Because there are only two in the middle, they must be ready to intercept passes and immediately look to spread wide or find the feet of the strikers.

Up front, the team uses two central forwards in Autonomoust and wpdl3042 to occupy the center of the pitch. SkaGoGo and Won act as wide wingers who stretch the defence by hugging the touchline. The attack is designed to create chaos through direct runs in behind and quick combinations between the two central strikers. When the team wins the ball, SkaGoGo and Won look to cut inside or get to the byline, while the strikers work to pin the last defender and arrive late into the box.

This formation offers immense speed of transition and massive numbers in the box. By playing with four attackers, Paris Saint-Germain can create wide overloads and force the opposition to defend in deep blocks. The presence of Autonomoust and wpdl3042 makes it very hard for opponents to mark everyone in the box, often creating one on one situations for the wingers to exploit.

This 4-2-4 lineup is a high risk, high reward system focused on sheer attacking pressure. It is best suited for games where the team needs to break down a low block or exploit a tired opponent on the break.
