Partizan relies on a high press and direct attacking play through a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and quickly move the ball into the final third. The team looks to control games by squeezing the space in the opposition half and using verticality to catch defenders out of position.

In goal, Popović stays focused on shot stopping and commanding his area. The defensive unit operates as a flat back four where Bjeković plays as a defensive wing back to hold the line. Mašović and Vujačić act as the two central defenders, with Mašović often stepping into midfield to provide an extra layer of coverage while Vujačić focuses on winning the header and clearing the lines. Filipović provides width on the left and must track back quickly when the team loses possession to prevent crosses.

The midfield works to control the center of the pitch using a three man midfield with a carrier. Gomes acts as the primary engine, driving forward with the ball to link the defense and attack. Aleksić U21 operates in the half spaces to connect play, while Xadas plays as an attacking ten behind the striker to find pockets of space. This grouping aims to press aggressively to win the ball high and ensure the midfield remains compact when the team drops into a mid block.

Up front, the team utilizes three attackers across the front to stretch the defence. Ganho operates as a pressing centre forward, fighting for every ball to force a long ball from the opposition. Jović and Ilić act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central overloads. This movement creates space for Filipović to overlap the winger and allows the attackers to combine in tight spaces near the edge of the box.

Partizan benefits from a high degree of compactness when defending and the ability to hit in behind on the transition. The combination of Xadas finding through balls and the pace of the wingers allows for rapid breaks. By using inverted wingers, the team also creates wide overloads that force the opposition to commit more players to the flanks.

This 4-3-3 formation is designed for a high intensity game that prioritizes winning the ball back quickly. It is best suited for matches where the team can exploit gaps in a high defensive line through quick vertical passing.
