Partizan aims to control the tempo through a high press and quick transitions, utilizing a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and move it forward through the thirds with verticality. The team looks to stretch the opposition defense by using wide players to create space for the central runners.

In goal, Popović acts as the first line of defense. The back line operates as a flat back four where Bjeković and Filipović play as full backs to provide width. Bjeković pushes high to overlap the winger while Filipović tucks in to maintain the defensive line. In the center, Mašović and Vujačić form a central pairing to defend zonally. Mašović is tasked with covering the space behind the full backs, while Vujačić focuses on winning the header and clearing the lines when the opponent plays long.

The midfield uses a three-man midfield with a carrier to connect the defense to the attack. Milosavljević operates in the left central role to shield the defense and win the second ball. Gomes plays as the right central midfielder to drive forward with the ball and progress through the thirds. Spalek plays as the attacking ten behind the striker, operating in the hole to find the feet of the striker or play through the lines. This unit works to squeeze the space between the lines and ensure the team stays compact when the ball is lost.

The attacking front line features three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. Badamosi acts as a pressing centre-forward, using his physical presence to hold up the ball and wait for support. On the flanks, Adžić and Xadas work as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central overloads. Adžić looks to receive on the half-turn to move the ball into the box, while Xadas moves into the half spaces to receive passes from the midfield. This movement creates space for the full backs to deliver early crosses or for runners to arrive late into the box.

Partizan gains a significant advantage through their ability to press high in coordinated waves, forcing the opponent into mistakes. The formation also allows for wide overloads when the full backs push up to join the wingers. This creates situations where the team can isolate wide players in one on one battles to bypass the midfield quickly.
