SOSKIC guards the goal as the last line of defense. The back four stays relatively flat to maintain a clear line, with BELIN and ZEBEC acting as full backs who need to balance their duties. BELIN provides width on the left while ZEBEC covers the right side. In the middle, LAZAREVIC and KALOPEROVIC form the central pairing, where they focus on winning headers and clearing the lines when the ball comes deep. They work together to keep a tight line and ensure the space behind them is protected.

The midfield operates in two banks of four to keep the team compact. MIHAJLOVIC and MILUTINOVIC act as the central pair to control the center of the pitch. MIHAJLOVIC works to shield the defense and recycle possession, while MILUTINOVIC looks to drive forward with the ball to link the lines. On the flanks, VALOK and PAJEVIC provide the width. VALOK stays wide on the right to deliver crosses, while PAJEVIC tracks back to help the defense and then pushes up to support the attack.

Partizan uses two forwards to stretch the opposition defense. BOBEK and HERCEG play as a partnership in the front two. BOBEK often plays as the more advanced striker, looking to run in behind the defenders. HERCEG works to hold up the ball and allow the midfielders to join the play. This duo aims to create chances through quick combinations and by finding space between the opposition center backs. They press from the front to force the opposition to play long balls.

One major advantage of this lineup is the ability to remain compact when defending, making it very difficult for opponents to find space between the lines. The team can also create wide overloads when the full backs join VALOK or PAJEVIC in the final third. This allows Partizan to send more numbers forward and overwhelm the defense.
