TOPALOVIC plays as a left sided central midfielder, helping to connect the defensive and attacking lines. BERENBRUCH operates on the right of the midfield trio, driving forward with the ball to link the play. This trio works to compress the midfield and ensure the team stays compact when they lose the ball.

Inter employs three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. LAVELLI acts as the lone striker, working to hold up the ball and find the feet of the midfielders. QUIETO plays as an inverted winger on the left, looking to cut inside and find space in the half spaces. DE PIERI occupies the right wing to provide width and deliver crosses.
