Akita relies on a direct and aggressive style to catch opponents off guard through a 4-2-4. This formation is built to play with high intensity and rapid transitions, using a heavy front line to pin the opposition back. The goal is to create chaos in the final third by using speed and verticality to bypass the opponent midfield.

Gagamaru starts in goal, acting as the last line of defense. The back line sits in a flat back four with Niko at right back and Aryu at left back. Niko is tasked to track back and cover the wide areas, while Aryu provides support on the opposite flank. In the center, Aiku and Lorenzo form the core of the defense. Aiku uses his aerial strength to win headers and Lorenzo works to cover the space behind him. The unit aims to defend zonally and maintain a compact line to prevent runners from getting behind them.

The midfield operates as a double pivot to provide stability. Charles and Sae sit in front of the defense to protect the back four. Sae acts to connect the defensive and attacking lines with his passing range, while Charles works to win the second ball in the center of the pitch. They must squeeze the space between the lines to stop the opposition from playing through the middle. This pair is responsible for recycling possession and moving the ball quickly to the wide players.

Akita employs four attackers to stretch the defense constantly. Kurona and Hiori operate as wide wingers, with Kurona looking to cut inside to create goal scoring chances and Hiori looking to find space on the flanks. Isagi and Rin lead the line as two forwards in a partnership. Isagi works to find pockets of space between the defenders, while Rin acts as a powerful presence to push the defensive line back. The front four press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

One major advantage of this lineup is the ability to create wide overloads when the wingers and full backs work together. Akita can also use the speed of transition to hit teams on the break before they can get into a defensive block. The presence of Isagi and Rin allows the team to attack in combinations, making it very difficult for a back four to mark them.

This 4-2-4 formation is designed for high pressure and rapid attacking movements. It is best suited for matches against opponents who play a high line and can be caught in transition.
