Slovan Liberec looks to play a high press and direct style of football with a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to press the opposition high up the pitch and use wide areas to stretch the defence. The goal is to win the ball back quickly and move it forward to the front three in short order.

KRAJČÍRIK stays between the posts to command his area. The defensive unit functions as a back three where PLECHATÝ acts as the right centre-back and POURZITIDIS plays as the left centre-back. ŠEVINSKÝ sits in the middle of this line to provide cover and win headers. This back three works to stay compact and sweep behind the midfielders when the team pushes forward.

A central midfield pairing of VARFOLOMEEV and HLAVATÝ controls the middle of the pitch. VARFOLOMEEV and HLAVATÝ work to win the second ball and carry the ball forward to connect the defence to the attack. GHALI operates as the left midfielder to provide width and track back when needed. KAYONDO plays on the right side to support the wingers and help squeeze the space in the middle.

The attack uses three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. LETENAY leads the line as a pressing centre-forward to harass the opposition centre-backs. DULAY plays as a left winger to cut inside and create chances, while ENEME occupies the right wing. This front line is designed to create runs in behind and allow the midfielders to deliver crosses into the box.

Slovan Liberec can create wide overloads from the midfielders pushing up to support the attackers. The formation allows the team to press in coordinated waves to win the ball back high up the pitch. This setup also provides speed of transition when the ball is won in the middle third.

This 3-4-3 formation focuses on high intensity pressing and quick vertical play. It is best suited for games where the team needs to overwhelm the opponent in the final third.
