Koopmeiners is tasked to drive forward with the ball and arrive late into the box to support the attackers. This pair connects the defense to the front line, often dropping deep to collect the ball and play through the lines. They must press in a mid-block to ensure the opposition cannot find space in the center.

The attacking line uses three forwards to stretch the defence. Vlahovic acts as a central striker to hold up the ball and link play. Yildiz and N.
