Dimarco and Dumfries act as attacking wing backs who push high to provide width and overlap the midfielders to create overloads on the flanks.

The front line uses two forwards in a partnership. Lautaro Martinez works as a pressing centre forward to trigger the press, while Thuram uses his strength to hold up the ball and make runs in behind. The attack relies on quick combinations and the wingbacks who can cut inside or deliver crosses. When the team wins the ball, they look to hit in behind on the transition and exploit the space left by the opposition.
