Dibusz stays between the posts to organize the defense. The back line consists of a narrow pair of central defenders with Cissé and Gartenmann. They must hold the line and stay close together to prevent through balls. Because there are only two defenders, they often step up to squeeze the space or drop into a low block if the team loses the ball. They must be ready to clear the lines quickly when under pressure to prevent breaks.

The midfield utilizes a double pivot consisting of Makreckis and Ramirez to shield the two defenders. They work to win the second ball and intercept plays before they reach the back line. Ahead of them, Abu Fani and Maïga act as two tens in the half-spaces. Abu Fani and Maïga drive forward with the ball to connect the defense to the attack. They can also drop into the pockets to receive on the half-turn and play through the lines to the forwards.

The attacking unit is very wide with four players across the front. Saldanha and Traore act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to stretch the defence. Traore looks to cut inside and create numbers in central areas, while Saldanha seeks to get to the byline and whip it in. In the center, Kady and Varga operate as a strike partnership. Kady works as a pressing centre-forward, while Varga makes runs in behind. They press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

This lineup offers massive attacking pressure and the ability to press high in coordinated waves. By having four players in the final third, Ferencváros can pin the last defender and create constant chaos. The formation also creates numerical superiority in the attacking half, which can overwhelm a standard back four or push the opposition into deep errors.
