Golovin plays as an inverted winger on the left, often cutting inside to find space between the lines. Samedov stays wider on the right to stretch the defence and deliver crosses. One major advantage for Russia is the ability to create wide overloads when Fernandes and Zhirkov push up to join the wingers.
