These players must win the second ball and recycle possession to keep the pressure on. Rumenigge or Muller plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to arrive late into the box or find the feet of the striker. This central trio links the defense to the attack through quick passing.

The attack uses three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. Ribery or Coutinho plays on the left as an inverted winger who will cut inside, while Robben or Coman stays on the right to provide width. Toni or Klose operates as the central striker, acting as a focal point to hold up the ball and lead the press from the front. The team relies on the wingers to isolate a one on one wide or deliver a cross on the run to create scoring chances.
