Starting Lineup

Al-Ittihad aims to control games through a high press and aggressive possession. This 4-3-3 lineup is built to squeeze the space in the opposition half and dominate the ball. The team looks to use the width of the pitch to stretch the defence before playing through the lines to create chances.

The front line features three attackers looking to create chances. Tamer leads the way as a lone striker to hold up the ball and link up with the attacking players. On the flanks, Sultan Ynbawi and A.Mashi act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create overloads in the middle. Sultan Ynbawi looks to isolate a one on one wide, while A.Mashi makes runs in behind the opposition back line. They combine in tight spaces to pull the defenders out of position and deliver early crosses.

The team can create wide overloads from overlapping full backs like Osaid and Bafail.
