Luís stays between the posts to command the area and clear the lines. The defensive unit operates as a flat back four, with Pedro and Bruno acting as the full backs. Pedro works to overlap the winger on the right, while Bruno provides balance on the left. In the center, Rodrigo and Filipe form the heart of the defense, with Rodrigo focusing on winning the header in aerial duels and Filipe providing cover. They defend zonally to maintain a compact shape and ensure they do not get pulled out of position.

The midfield is organized in two lines of four to provide defensive stability. Sebastián and Ilija sit in the center to control the middle of the pitch, with Sebastián acting as the primary carrier to drive the ball forward. They work to win the second ball and recycle possession to the wide areas. On the flanks, Salvador and Joel occupy the wide positions to provide width and help the full backs. Salvador stays wide to cross the ball, while Joel looks to track back and support the defensive line when the team sits deep.

In the attacking phase, Boavista utilizes two forwards in a partnership. Róbert operates as the lead striker, looking to hold up the ball and link play with his partner. Miguel plays as the second striker, making runs in behind to exploit the space between the opposition defenders. The attack relies on quick combinations and service from the wings, with the forwards pressing the opposition back line to force a long ball. They look to isolate wide players in one on one situations or receive the ball in the channels to break the line.
