Tammy operates as a lone striker at the top of the formation. He acts as a pressing centre forward to harass the opposition back line and disrupt their build up. When the team moves forward, Tammy tries to hold up the ball and lay it off to the incoming midfielders. The attack relies on the wide runs of Theo and Emerson to provide crosses and stretch the defence. Chris and Rafa look to arrive late into the box to support the central presence.

One major advantage for Milan is the numerical superiority in the middle of the pitch. Having five players in the central zone makes it very difficult for opponents to play through the lines. Another strength is the speed of transition when Ismael or Youssuf win the ball. The team can quickly move the ball to the wide areas or find Tammy to break the line.
