Lamia relies on a direct and vertical style of play using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to strike quickly in transition and use the width of the pitch to stretch opponents. The team looks to win the ball and move forward with speed rather than controlling long periods of possession.

Raton guards the goal as the last line of defense. In front of him, a back three provides a solid foundation. Siovas acts as the central defender to organize the line and clear the lines. Leo and Gkotzamanidis sit on either side of him, acting as wide centre-backs who can step up to intercept passes or cover the space behind the midfield. This defensive unit works to stay compact and force play wide to protect the middle.

The midfield functions with a central pairing of Doiranlis and Nunez. These two must work hard to shield the defense and win the second ball in the middle of the pitch. Nunez and Doiranlis serve to connect the back three to the front three by finding the wide players or playing through the lines. On the flanks, Radonja and Saramantas operate as wide midfielders who provide the necessary width to support the attack.

The attacking unit features three players across the front. Vlachomitros acts as the striker, looking to find the feet of his teammates or run in behind the defense. Furtado and Lake occupy the wide positions, with Furtado cutting inside from the right and Lake looking to stretch the defense from the left. The goal is to use combinations in the final third to create chances, often looking for cutbacks or quick passes to Vlachomitros.

A major advantage for Lamia is the ability to create wide overloads when Radonja and Saramantas push up to join the attackers. This creates space for the wide centre-backs to carry the ball forward. The team also benefits from a high press in coordinated waves, using the front three to win the ball high up the pitch and launch immediate attacks.

This 3-4-3 formation provides Lamia with a strong platform for quick counter attacks. It is a setup best suited for matches against teams that leave large spaces behind their defensive line.
