Lamia favors a direct and high pressing style of play using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and strike quickly through wide channels. The team seeks to stretch the defence by using the full width of the field to create chances in transition.

Raton sits between the posts to organize the defensive line. The back three consists of Leo on the left, Siovas in the center, and Gkotzamanidis on the right. Leo and Gkotzamanidis act as wide centre-backs to cover the spaces behind the wingers, while Siovas works to win the header and clear the lines. The unit maintains a high line to keep the team compact and reduce the space between the defense and the midfield.

The midfield operates as a central block with Nunez and Doiranlis acting as the two central midfielders. Nunez works to protect the area in front of the defense and shield the back three, while Doiranlis looks to carry the ball forward and connect the lines. On the flanks, Radonja and Saramantas play as wide midfielders. They are tasked to press in a mid-block and support the wingers to create wide overloads.

In the attacking third, Lamia uses three players across the front to pin the opposition back line. Vlachomitros acts as the lone striker, working to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. Lake and Furtado operate as wide attackers, with Lake playing on the left and Furtado on the right. These players look to cut inside or get to the byline to deliver crosses into the box. The front three press from the front to force a long ball from the opponent.

This formation offers Lamia the ability to create wide overloads through the combined movement of the wingers and the wide midfielders. The team can also use the strength of the three central defenders to defend zonally and win the second ball. The narrow central block makes it difficult for opponents to play through the lines.

This 3-4-3 formation is designed for a high intensity game that relies on winning the ball in advanced areas. It is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play out from the back under heavy pressure.
