Starting Lineup

Gerrard plays as the attacking midfielder in the hole, looking to arrive late into the box and use his passing range to break the line. This group is designed to compress the midfield and ensure the team always has a passing option.

The front three provides the main goal threat through a variety of movements. Kane acts as the central striker, working to hold up the ball and link up play with the midfielders. On the flanks, Rooney and Foden provide width and goal threat. Rooney moves from the left to cut inside and find pockets of space, while Foden stays wide to stretch the defence before looking to drive at the defense. They press from the front to force a long ball and create chances through quick combinations.
