This lineup is built to dominate territory by squeezing the pitch and keeping the ball in the opponent half. The goal is to use quick vertical passing to catch the opposition out of position before they can settle.

G. Arias starts in goal to organize the defensive line. Racing Club employs a flat back four that works to stay compact and maintain a high line. Martirena acts as an attacking full back on the right to provide width, while G. Rojas performs similar duties on the left. In the middle, M. Di Cesare and G. Basso act as the central defenders, with M. Di Cesare providing aerial strength and G. Basso covering the space behind when the line steps up. This unit works together to win the second ball and prevent long balls from breaking their line.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a single pivot. S. Sosa sits in front of the defense to shield the back four and recycle possession. To his sides, J. Nardoni and F. Redondo operate as the two eight roles. F. Redondo uses his passing range to drive the ball forward, while J. Nardoni presses aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch. This trio connects the defense to the attack, ensuring the team can move from a defensive block to an attacking stance without losing control.

In the attacking third, the team uses three attackers across the front. L. Vietto and J. Quintero operate as wide wingers, with J. Quintero often looking to cut inside to create goalscoring chances. R. Martínez leads the line as a pressing centre-forward, constantly looking to run in behind the defense. The forwards work to pin the last defender and create space for the midfielders to arrive late into the box. This attacking unit focuses on combination play to pull wide and find gaps in the opposition defense.
