Bari aims to be a defensively solid unit, operating primarily with a 5-4-1 formation. This lineup is built to sit deep and absorb pressure before looking to hit opponents on the break. By keeping many bodies behind the ball, the team seeks to minimize space between the lines and force the opposition into low probability long balls.

Radunovic plays between the posts to command the penalty area. The defensive unit relies on a back five that maintains a narrow defensive block. Lella sits in the center of the defense to organize the line and win headers, while Beifius and Reyes operate as the wide centre-backs to cover the channels. Tobias and Dahl act as attacking wing backs, tasked with providing width and tracking back to support the defensive line when possession is lost. This group works together to hold a compact shape and deny any runners through the middle.

A four man midfield sits ahead of the defensive line to control the center of the pitch. Kjaergaard acts as a single pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. Next to him, Cole Campbell and Paredes work as the engine, with Cole Campbell driving forward with the ball while Paredes connects the defensive and attacking lines. CHERKY? operates as an attacking ten behind the striker to link the midfield to the front. This unit must press in a mid-block to disrupt the opponent and win the ball back high up the pitch.

The attacking phase for Bari relies on a lone striker, either Kouame or Vitinha, who must hold up the ball to allow teammates to move forward. The team builds attacks through transitions, looking to use the width provided by Tobias and Dahl. When the wing backs push up, they aim to deliver crosses into the box or find the feet of the striker. CHERKY? looks to find space between the lines to play through the lines, while the midfielders arrive late into the box to support the central presence.

One major tactical advantage for Bari is the compactness when defending, making it very hard for opponents to find gaps in the middle. The formation also allows for wide overloads when Tobias and Dahl overlap the midfielders to stretch the defence. This ability to shift between a deep block and a quick transition can catch many teams off guard.
