A highly aggressive and vertical style of play defines KF Tirana as they operate in a 2-4-4 formation. This lineup is built to overwhelm opponents through sheer numbers in the attacking third and rapid transitions. The team aims to pin the opposition back and win the ball high up the pitch to keep the play moving toward the goal.

In the defensive phase, the goalkeeper must manage the space behind the back line. The two central defenders, Anderson Marques/Fred and Patric/Domingos, form a narrow defensive block that relies on speed and recovery to handle direct attacks. Because there are only two players in the back, they must defend man-to-man or step up to intercept passes before the opponent can exploit the space behind them.

The midfield functions as a four man unit that connects the defense to the front four. Perdigão/Amaral acts as a shield to protect the center backs, while Lucio works as a carrier to drive the ball forward. Ceará provides balance in the midfield, and Gilberto plays as an attacking ten behind the striker to find pockets of space. This group works to compress the midfield and ensure the team can quickly recycle possession once the ball is regained.

The attacking line is incredibly heavy with four players looking to score. Zé Love acts as the primary striker to hold up the ball and find teammates, supported by Edilson/Christian who provides additional central threat. On the flanks, Douglas stays wide on the right to stretch the defence, while Mancini/Rivaldo cuts inside from the left to create more central presence. This setup forces the opposition to defend in very tight spaces and makes it difficult to track every runner.

KF Tirana gains a significant advantage by creating numerical superiority in the attacking third. The ability to play with four attackers allows them to overwhelm a standard back four and create many one on one situations for Douglas and Mancini/Rivaldo. Furthermore, the intense press from the front four can force a long ball, allowing the central defenders to win the second ball and start a new attack.

This formation is a high risk, high reward system centered on relentless attacking pressure. It is best suited for games where KF Tirana needs to chase a result or against opponents that struggle to defend against rapid, vertical movements.
