Ascacíbar sits in the center of the three to protect the area, while S. Núñez and F. Rodríguez act as the wider center backs to cover the channels. On the flanks, F. Mura and J. Aude act as attacking wing backs, providing width and tasked with tracking back to form a five man line when the team is out of possession. This unit works to stay narrow and force opponents wide.

The midfield functions as a three man midfield with a carrier. E. Cetré and C. Medina work to shield the defense and win the second ball in the middle of the pitch. B. Rollheiser operates as the creative link, looking to connect the defensive and attacking lines by playing through the lines. This group is tasked to press aggressively when the ball enters their zone and ensure they stay compact to prevent the opposition from playing between the lines.

In the final third, the team utilizes two forwards in a partnership. J. Correa and G. Carrillo operate as the front line, with Correa often looking to run in behind the defense.
