Velazco operates as an attacking ten behind the strikers, looking to arrive late into the box and find space between the lines.

Boca utilizes two forwards in a partnership to stretch the defence. Cavani acts as the primary striker, using his positioning to pin the last defender and hold up the ball for others. Palacios plays as a second striker to run in behind and make runs into the box. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. When the team moves forward, the wingers and attacking midfielders combine in tight spaces to create chances through quick one-two combinations.
