Dinamo Football Formation
Starting Lineup
Livakovic · Sedloski · KTC · Ademi · Mujcin · Orsic · Soudani · Petkovic · Etto · Olmo · EduardoDinamo relies on a heavy attacking intent to overwhelm opponents through a 3-3-4 formation. This lineup is built to play a high press and use intense verticality to catch the opposition out of position. By crowding the final third, the team aims to pin the last defender and sustain pressure deep in the opponent half.
Livakovic sits between the posts to command the area and act as the first point of distribution. The defensive unit uses a back three where Etto acts as the right centre-back and KTC occupies the left centre-back role. Sedloski plays as the central defender to sweep behind a high line and organize the zonal line. These three defenders must stay compact to avoid being caught by long balls while they play out from the back to start attacks.
The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier to link the lines. Ademi and Mujcin work to press aggressively to win the ball high, while Olmo acts as the central hub to recycle possession. Olmo looks to play through the lines to find the forwards, while the other two midfielders must track back to cover the space left by the attacking wingers. This trio is responsible for winning the second ball and ensuring the team does not get bypassed in the middle.
In the attacking third, the team uses two forwards in a partnership with Eduardo and Petkovic leading the line. Orsic and Soudani act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to stretch the defence. The movement of Orsic and Soudani creates space in the channels for Petkovic and Eduardo to make runs in behind. This front four is designed to attack in combinations, using quick one-two passing to find gaps in the defensive block.
One major strength for Dinamo is the ability to create wide overloads when the wingers and midfielders combine. The high press in coordinated waves allows the team to win it back high up the pitch and attack before the opponent can settle. Additionally, the presence of two central strikers provides a constant threat to win the header or hold up the ball for late runners.
This high-intensity formation is best suited for matches where the team needs to dominate possession and force the opposition into a deep block. It is an aggressive lineup designed to punish teams that struggle to defend against rapid transitions and heavy numbers in the box.
