Starting Lineup

Huracán aims to play a high intensity game centered on direct attacking play, utilizing a 4-2-4 formation. This lineup focuses on stretching the opponent and creating constant pressure in the final third. By deploying four attackers, the team intends to pin the opposition back and exploit spaces behind their defensive line.

Galíndez starts in goal to command the area and organize the back four. The defensive unit functions with a flat back four, where Guidara acts as the right back to provide width and Carrizo operates on the left. In the center, Zabala and Moya form the heart of the defense, tasked with winning the second ball and covering for the advancing wide players. They must hold the line and stay compact to prevent through balls.

The midfield consists of a double pivot designed to control the center of the pitch. Cantillo and Gil sit in front of the defense to shield the back four and recycle possession. Cantillo works to connect the defensive and attacking lines by playing through the lines, while Gil looks to win the ball back high up the pitch. This duo must balance their roles to ensure the team is not caught out when the full backs push forward.

Up front, Huracán utilizes two forwards in a partnership to lead the press from the front. Miljevic and Tissera operate as the central strikers, looking to find the feet of the striker or make runs in behind. On the flanks, Urzi and Mazzanti act as wide wingers who want to isolate the opposition full backs in one on one situations. They often cut inside to create central presence, allowing for overlaps from the wide defenders.
