Vietto and Fernández operate in the center, with Fernández acting as the engine to carry the ball forward and connect the lines. Vietto looks to intercept passes and disrupt the opponent's rhythm. On the flanks, Zaracho and Rodríguez provide width and track back to help the full backs. Zaracho works to drive the play forward from the right, while Rodríguez focuses on pressing in a mid-block to win the ball high up the pitch.

Racing Club utilizes two forwards in a partnership to stretch the opposition defence. Martínez and Salas lead the line, often working in combinations to turn defenders. Martínez acts as the focal point to hold up the ball, while Salas looks to make runs in behind the high line. The team builds the attack by using the wide players to spread wide and then looking to deliver crosses into the box. When the team transitions, the strikers press the opposition back line to force long balls and win the second ball.
