The midfield consists of a flat midfield four to squeeze the space in front of the defense. LEANDRO and JUSTIN occupy the central roles to shield the defense and win the second ball. LEANDRO works to carry the ball forward and connect the lines, while JUSTIN stays deeper to protect the three center backs. On the edges, ISIDOROS and RYAN provide width and look to track back to help the wing backs. This group works to compress the midfield and deny the turn to the opposition.

Gabriel operates as a lone striker to lead the attack. He must hold up the ball and find the feet of teammates to bring the midfield into play. RYAN and ISIDOROS can cut inside to create numbers in the middle, while JADEN and MOSTAFA look to get to the byline and whip it in. Gabriel must press the opposition back line to force a long ball and win the ball back high up the pitch.
