SCR Altach Football Formation
Starting Lineup
Koller (Noode) · Stojanovic (Helac) · Zech (Gugganig) · Estrada · Ingolitsch · Ouedraogo (Yalcin) · Gorgon (Bähre) · Demaku (Kaiba) · Kameri · Diawara (Dietz) · FridrikasSCR Altach aims to play a direct and vertical style of football using a 3-5-2 formation. This lineup is built to control the central areas and use the width of the pitch to stretch opponents. The goal is to stay compact in the middle and use quick transitions to catch the opposition out of position.
Stojanovic guards the goal as the last line of defense. The defensive unit operates as a back three with Zech acting as the central defender to hold the line and organize the unit. Estrada operates as the right centre-back to cover the space, while Koller plays as the left centre-back to provide aerial strength. This back three sits deep to protect the space behind them, ensuring the team stays hard to beat when defending in a low block.
In the middle of the pitch, the team uses a five man midfield to dominate the ball. Kameri operates as an attacking ten behind the strikers to create chances and find the feet of the forwards. Gorgon and Demaku occupy the central roles to connect the defense to the attack, with Gorgon looking to drive forward with the ball. Ouedraogo and Ingolitsch act as wide midfielders who provide width and are expected to track back to support the defenders. This midfield group works to win the second ball and recycle possession quickly.
The attacking front line features two forwards in a partnership. Diawara and Fridrikas work together to pin the last defender and make runs in behind. They often combine in tight spaces to pull the opposition out of position. While the wide players like Ouedraogo and Ingolitsch spread wide to create space, the two strikers focus on central presence to finish chances. The team looks to hit in behind on the transition, using the movement of Diawara and Fridrikas to exploit gaps.
A primary tactical advantage for SCR Altach is the ability to create numerical superiority in the central midfield area. By packing the middle with Kameri, Gorgon, and Demaku, the team can squeeze the space and deny the opponent time on the ball. Another strength is the flexibility to switch between a mid-block and a high press depending on where the ball is played. This allows the team to remain compact when defending and much more dangerous during quick breaks.
This 3-5-2 formation provides SCR Altach with a solid base to compete in central battles. It is a system best suited for games against teams that play with a single pivot or those that struggle to handle high pressure in the middle of the pitch.
