Sloboda Tuzla aims to play a highly defensive and compact brand of football using a 5-4-1 formation. This lineup is built to sit deep and absorb pressure, looking to hit teams on the break when the opportunity arises. The primary goal is to minimize the space between the lines and make it difficult for opponents to play through the center of the pitch.

SAID starts between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line consists of a back five where BEGANOVIĆ U21 acts as the right center back and KURTALIĆ operates as the left center back, while KALESIĆ sits in the middle to anchor the defense. To provide width, NUMANOVIĆ U21 functions as a right wing back to cover the flank and DERVIŠAGIĆ acts as the left wing back. This defensive unit is designed to defend zonally and stay narrow to deny central entries.

The midfield operates in a flat four to protect the central zone. HASANBEGOVIĆ and HUSIĆ form a central pair to shield the defense and win the second ball. Ahead of them, COLLINS and JAŠAREVIĆ occupy the wide areas to track back and help the wing backs. This midfield group works to compress the space, ensuring that the distance between the defenders and the attackers remains minimal. They focus on recycling possession once they win the ball back in a mid-block.

In the attacking phase, MUMINOVIĆ acts as a lone striker. He is tasked to hold up the ball and wait for support from the midfield or the wing backs. The team builds attacks through quick transitions, often looking to find MUMINOVIĆ with direct passes or long balls. COLLINS and JAŠAREVIĆ provide the width to stretch the defense, while the wing backs aim to join the attack to create overloads on the flanks.

Sloboda Tuzla finds strength in their compactness when defending, making it very hard for the opposition to find gaps. The formation also offers a high level of protection for the central defenders by having multiple layers of players in front of them. This setup allows the team to remain defensively solid even when under heavy pressure from the opposition.

This 5-4-1 formation is a disciplined defensive lineup that relies on a strong low block. It is best suited for matches against superior opponents where the objective is to sit deep and prevent goal scoring opportunities.
