Starting Lineup

Trol · Aidn · Kenpachi · Ushido · Bosinn · TanNinja · Justin (Zent) · Flawless · Luca · Lani · Shanks

PSG focuses on a deep defensive block and quick transitions through a 5-4-1. This formation is built to sit deep and absorb pressure before hitting the opponent on the break. The lineup relies on a compact defensive unit to deny space between the lines and force the opposition to play wide.

Kenpachi stays between the posts to organize the defensive line. The back five features Trol acting as the central anchor while Ushido and Bosinn operate as the wide centre-backs to cover the channels. Lani and Shanks act as wing backs to provide width and track back when the team loses the ball. This group maintains a narrow defensive block to protect the middle of the pitch.

The midfield operates as a flat four to squeeze the space in front of the defense. TanNinja and Justin form the central pairing to shield the back line and win the second ball. Luca and Flawless stay wide to cover the flanks and provide outlets for the transition. These players must work together to press in a mid-block and deny any easy passes into the box.

Aidn plays as a lone striker to lead the line and hold up the ball. He works to pin the last defender and create room for the midfielders to push up. The attack relies on Luca and Flawless to move forward and support the striker during counter attacks. This setup creates opportunities for runs in behind and allows the team to exploit space when the opponent commits men forward.

One major advantage for PSG is the compactness when defending in a low block. The heavy presence in the middle makes it very difficult for opponents to play through the lines. Additionally, the team can use the speed of transition to catch the opposition out of position when Shanks or Lani carry the ball forward.

This 5-4-1 formation is a defensively solid lineup designed to frustrate dominant teams. It is best suited for matches where the team needs to defend a lead or play against a high pressing opponent.
