DPMM focuses on a direct and high pressing game using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and use quick transitions to catch the opposition out of position. The team aims to play with high intensity to disrupt the rhythm of the opponent and create chances through rapid vertical movement.

Kristijan Naumovski plays in goal to anchor the defensive unit. The back line consists of a central defender, Yura Indrea Putera, flanked by Damir Muminovic and Patrick Flottmann. Muminovic and Flottmann act as wide centre-backs in this three man defensive block to provide cover when the midfield pushes up. These defenders work to win the second ball and clear the lines under pressure. They must hold a high line to squeeze the space and ensure the team stays compact when defending.

The midfield functions as a central engine designed to control the middle third. Farshad Noor and Abdul Hariz operate in the central areas to shield the defense and recycle possession. By using the wide players to stretch the defense, the team can also create gaps for late runs into the box from the midfield.
