Bellingham plays as an attacking ten, acting as a link between the midfield and the front three, often making runs to arrive late into the box.

Up front, the team uses three attackers across the front to stretch the defence and create chances. Vini Jr and Rodrygo operate as wide wingers who love to cut inside and run at defenders. Mbappe plays as a pressing centre forward, looking to pin the last defender and play with his back to goal to find the feet of the striker. The attack works through quick combinations and aims to hit in behind on the transition. By pulling wide, the wingers create space for Bellingham to move into the pockets.

A major strength of this Real Madrid lineup is the numerical superiority in the middle of the pitch. Having five players in the center allows the team to recycle possession easily and win the second ball.
