Macará aims to play a high tempo game through a heavy offensive presence in a 4-2-4. This lineup focuses on hitting the opposition hard and creating multiple chances in the final third. By pushing many players forward, Macará looks to overwhelm the defense and win the ball back quickly.

Pinos guards the goal as the last line of defense. The back four sits in a flat line to keep the team compact while waiting to defend transitions. Patta acts as a wide defender on the right to provide width, while Quiñónes covers the left side. In the center, Mina and M.Corozo form the defensive pairing, where they focus on winning headers and clearing the lines when the pressure becomes intense.

The midfield operates with a double pivot to manage the center of the pitch. Feraud and Tapiero work together to shield the defense and recycle possession when the attack stalls. Feraud often tries to carry the ball forward to bridge the gap, while Tapiero works to intercept passes and win the second ball. They must work hard to cover the space left behind when the front four push high.

The attacking unit uses two center forwards to pin the opposition defense. Armas and Estrada play as a partnership up front, often looking to run in behind the back line. On the flanks, Muñoz and Janner act as wide wingers who spread the play. Muñoz stays wide to stretch the defense, whereas Janner looks to cut inside to create more central threats. This front four works to press the opposition back line from the front to force mistakes.

One major advantage for Macará is the ability to create wide overloads when the full backs push up to support the wingers. The team also benefits from a high volume of chances because of the four attackers always looking to score. This setup creates significant pressure on the opponent, forcing them to sit deep and defend their own box.

This 4-2-4 formation is designed for an aggressive attacking output and high pressure. It is best suited for matches where Macará needs to chase a result against a side that plays a low block.
