Andorra focuses on a high pressing and aggressive style of play using a 2-4-4 formation. This lineup is built to overwhelm the opposition in the final third by committing many players forward to win the ball back quickly. The goal is to use high energy to disrupt the opponent and create many attacking opportunities through sheer numbers.

Al Deayea SAR sits in goal to protect the area. The defensive unit consists of a very narrow back two with Eskandarian IRN and Ben Haim ISR acting as the central defenders. These two must stay compact and show the striker inside to avoid being beaten by long balls. Because the lineup lacks full backs, Eskandarian IRN and Ben Haim ISR have to be ready to cover wide areas when the midfield is bypassed.

The midfield works in a flat four to control the center of the pitch. Madahvikia IRN and Cohen ISR act as a double pivot to shield the two defenders and win the second ball. Madahvikia IRN and Cohen ISR must press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch. Further forward, Berkovic ISR and Bagheri ISR operate in the half spaces to connect the defense to the attack. Berkovic ISR and Bagheri ISR help to recycle possession and find ways to break the line.

The attack is highly aggressive with four players staying close to the opposition defense. Bennayoun ISR and Revivo ISR act as wide wingers who stretch the defense by staying high. Majed SAR and Spiegler ISR play as a partnership in the center, with Majed SAR and Spiegler ISR working to pin the last defender. The team looks to attack in combinations to create runs in behind or deliver crosses from the wide areas.

This formation offers massive attacking numbers and the ability to press in coordinated waves. Andorra can create wide overloads because the wingers and midfielders can quickly double up on the opponent. The sheer number of players in the final third allows for quick combinations to split the defense with a through ball.

Andorra relies on an intense attacking presence to force errors from the opponent. This formation is best suited for games where the team needs to play high risk to chase a result.
